Interfaith Ministries provides emergency financial assistance with rent and utility payments, prescriptions, school supplies, winter coats, eye care (through Lion’s Club), and other needs to residents of north Denton County. An expansion of the Manna Program begun here at FUMC, Interfaith has been helping people in acute crisis since 1993. Each year Interfaith serves approximately 2000 families in need. It is funded through monthly Communion offerings and Christmas and Easter offerings.
