We are a Travel Group, operating within First United Methodist Church - Denton, that travels locally, regionally, and internationally. We hold five membership meetings each year, usually the second Monday of January, March, May, September and November. Meetings are held at FUMC-Denton in the Monroe Building and include a pot luck luncheon and a short meeting where future trips are announced and discussed.
Membership dues are $2.00 per person annually. First year's dues are $5.00 per person which pays for a Tripper name badge. FUMC-Denton membership is not a requirement for membership in the Trippers Travel Group. However, membership in Trippers or a signed waiver is required to travel with us. This is necessary for insurance purposes. You may join at any meeting or click on the following form to print and mail to Marion Scott.

Tuesday May 28 through Thursday May 30 "Small Towns Texas 2013 Edition" Join fellow travelers on a trip within Texas to do some things you may not have done before. Good time guaranteed. Depart 8:00am May 28 - return 5:30pm May 30. $315 per person double occupancy / $410 single occupancy Pays transportation, hotels, all meals, fees, and gratuities. $100 deposit / remainder due April 20
Thursday July 4 Come celebrate our nations independence. "Patriotic Pops" by the Plano Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Depart 11:30 (This time is earlier than originally announced), eat lunch together before attending the performance, returning to Denton around 5:30. $63 pays for transportation, lunch, performance ticket, and gratuities.
Sunday August 11 Casa Manna in Ft Worth. Watch the acclaimed "Miss Saigon" Depart FUMC at 12:30 - return at 5:00. A box lunch from Jason's Deli will be provided to eat on the bus going to Ft Worth. $72 read more

Tuesday Sept 24 Texas Rangers vs Housto Astros. We will be seated in the corner box seats. Depart FUMC 5:00 - return 11:30. End of regular season - playoff gams begin first of October. Cost of $45 pays for ticket and transportation. read more

TRIPPERS have made details available of the individual trips and each TRAVELER acknowledges the TRAVELER is familiar with the conditions of the trip and is physically and mentally able to participate in the TRIP.
