Grounded in their faith, our youth serve others in their local community and beyond.
Each fall, our youth hit the streets, knocking on doors to collect non-perishable food items for the Denton Community Food Center and The Shepherd’s Hand.
Every October 31, our church hosts a trick-or-treating alternative on our campus. The youth play a key role in running the children’s games, while senior high youth offer trunk-or-treating out of the backs of their cars in the parking lot. Prizes are always awarded for the best costumes!

A week of Vacation Bible School is planned each summer for preschool and elementary children and is the only VBS in town to be scheduled during early evening hours. Our youth lead in every aspect of this event from reporting on the day’s events so parents can stay involved to leading music, crafts, storytelling or simply holding a child who needs extra attention.

Launched one summer Sunday evening, this event took our youth to the historic downtown Denton square to offer affirmation and support to members of our community.
This ministry, which offers spiritual and physical nourishment on Sunday mornings, was the idea of one of our youth. It has since been adopted by the entire church. Youth and their parents often serve in this ministry, cooking in the kitchen, offering hospitality to our guests, or leading worship.
