Born and raised in a diverse and multicultural background, Esme Wong is a Malaysian classically trained pianist who grew up speaking three languages and lived in three countries. Enjoying versatile performances, she has performed a wide range of works from early to contemporary. She enjoys arts in various cultures and has traveled to 15 countries.
Esme began her musical adventure at the age of four under the guidance of her mother and made her first solo piano debut at the age of 12. Since then she has received numerous awards, scholarships and recognition for her musical talent.
Esme is currently a staff pianist at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX. She holds a master’s degree in Collaborative Piano and is a teaching assistant from the University of North Texas. She earned Bachelor of Arts in Music from Luther College. We are blessed to have a person of such talent serve as the accompanist for both Credo and Children’s Choirs.
