How to Become a Member
You can become a member either by profession of faith following baptism (we accept baptism from all Christian denominations) or by transferring from another United Methodist Church or another Christian church or denomination.
If you were baptized as an infant or young child and have not made a profession of faith, then you will be asked to do so.
The vows of the United Methodist Church describe the Christian faith and life. We promise to pray, worship, give, serve, and witness to our faith. All members are asked to take these vows seriously.
Technically, your membership is in the worldwide denomination of The United Methodist Church, but your letter of membership is held by the local church.
If you are interested in joining our congregation of The United Methodist Church, you may communicate that to any of our clergy staff, or simply come forward when invited at the end of a Sunday worship service.
